А зависит не тока и не всегда от гео, а ещё и от подвески. Я сужу по ревьюшкам, конечно, сам я тока и видел, что Трейсеровскую раму, с потолка свисающую, про СБ вообще молчу 
Короче, в ревьюшках на Трейсер часто пишут, что он хорош вниз, но вверх - не столь. Про Йетю, как справедливо заметил Док, пишут про вверх, и чуть меньше про вниз. Из чего я делаю вывод, что Йетя не ориентирована особо никуда, а Трейсер - на езду вниз всё же более.

My previous bike is nothing to compare to (2003 stumpjumper). Over the past two months I demoed a medium 575 and medium Intense Tracer 2. I rode both two times on the trials above my house in SLC. I was caught in the middle of these bikes loving the downhill on the Tracer but just didn't feel efficient on the climbs. The 575 felt better on the climb but just didn't feel as stable down. Then all the news about the SB 66 and I was sold.
Climbing I'm about 10% faster on the SB 66 than the Tracer and about 5% faster than on the 575. I didn't time the downhills on the demo rides so hard to compare my total ride times. For me the Tracer was just too fun to compare anyway. I agree with the posts above the SB feels stiff especially on the flats then it just absorbs the edges. No need for pro pedal as advertised. Haven't decided if I like it better than the Tracer on the downhill or not but it is at least a close comparison. I'm very happy with my choice. The medium feels right for me 5'10
